When you’re fanatical about flipping nibs over to write with an even finer dry line and also a big fan of architect grinds, this is the inevitable offspring. They take a very long time to make and grinds can fail pretty quickly since most factory nibs have already been smoothed in the traditional orientation. This also means that a broad Inverted Architect will not yield as much line variation as a broad Architect. If you want an F/EF more frequently than an architect, have a weird nib with more tipping on top than below the tines, or just like the novelty of a nib that few other are likely to have: this is your nib. Added bonus: this is a super practical nib if you are thoughtful about ink selection. It allows you to write normally and then flip reverse as a highlighter!

As an added bonus, if you really want a bespoke writing experience that most of the population would disdain: order the normal side as saibi-togi. Then you’d truly have a nib that I suggest no one gets to try (because the risk of knocking out of alignment increases and the “scratchy” characteristic of saibi-togi is very single-task specific). This is a “you do you” set up.
